Its been a big year, Australian minister Katy Gallagher promises better 2023

The Australian minister for finance, women and public service promises a better future and reforms for the country’s residents.

“These reforms are just the beginning. In 2023, we, the Labor Government, will keep working to provide a better future for all residents of Australia”, said Katy Gallagher, Australian minister for finance, women, and the public service.

In a tweet, Gallagher said in 2022, the Australian government took several reforms for the betterment of the residents. Among the others, the most beneficial reforms were cheaper health care, cheaper medicines and restoring dignity in medical care.

Besides, the government has enhanced telehealth for more Australians in which residents can consult doctors through the telephone.

The Australian government has also decided to provide employees six months of paid parental leave and ten paid family and domestic violence leave for the employees.
The government is also working on restoring international trust and taking appropriate actions to protect our climate, including protecting our reef and our wildlife and natural habitat, the minister said.

Gallagher further added that the government had constituted the national anti-corruption commission and Robodebt Royal Commission for transparent working.
“Our Labor government also provided more affordable homes, increased the minimum wage, better pay, relief from the cost of living, secured jobs”, Gallagher said, adding that the government is protecting the Australian from cybercrime and online crime.

However, people left no stone unturned in counting the government’s decision that affected the people badly.

The Australian residents said that the National Covid-19 Clinical Evidence Taskforce’s funding had been stopped, along with joint state Covid health funding and PCR access, affecting people.
