Musk to address Twitter employees for first time since deal

According to sources familiar with the issue, Elon Musk will address Twitter Inc. staff at a company-wide meeting this week, marking the first time when he will speak with employees since agreeing to acquire the firm for $44 billion in late April.

According to the sources, the virtual meeting will take place on Thursday morning, and Musk will accept questions from Twitter staff.

Since the April agreement, Twitter has been in a state of disarray. Many employees dislike Musk, who has been vocal in his criticism of the corporation, its products, and its practices. Since the purchase was announced, CEO Parag Agrawal has made changes at the top of Twitter’s product structure and announced a number of cost-cutting measures.

Musk has recently questioned if Twitter’s user base is as large as the business says, implying that Twitter has a major spam bot problem.

Musk has appeared to try to exploit the alleged bot issue to renegotiate his contract at times, but Twitter management have informed staff that they want to stick to the arrangement.
