More than 20,000 people in Australia have participated in a national poll to provide input on the country’s plans for the future of schools.
Participants, including current and previous educators, parents, and students, have until the end of the following week to respond to the survey.
This is all about making sure that Australians directly involved in the school education system have a voice in the conversation about how to make it better and more equitable.
- enhancing the results of educational efforts
- promoting the physical and mental wellness of students, and
- Maintaining our teaching staff through providing support.
The results of survey will have discovering strategies to fulfil the current and future needs of students. They will also help inform the suggestions that will be included in the final report of the Review.
You can participate in the survey, which will only take ten minutes, here through Friday, June 23, at 5:00 p.m.
The following is a statement that can be attributed to Minister of Education Jason Clare:
The fact that over 20,000 people in Australia have responded to the poll in the past few weeks demonstrates how enthusiastic educators, parents, and students are about the educational institutions in which they are enrolled.
“I encourage teachers, parents, and students who are passionate about improving the quality of education that is provided in Australian schools to contribute their thoughts to the survey before it is closed on June 23,” said the author.
