Amazon Prime has acquired the exclusive global rights to a documentary offering an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at the life of First Lady Melania Trump. This highly anticipated film will be released in theaters and streamed worldwide, providing an intimate view of her personal and professional journey.
Filming for the documentary began in December 2024, giving audiences a glimpse into Melania’s life. She will serve as the executive producer alongside Fernando Sulichin of New Element Media, with Brett Ratner of RatPac Entertainment directing.
The documentary is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release and will be available on streaming platforms in the latter half of 2025, according to Fox News Digital. Amazon Prime Video has yet to release further details as production continues.
An Amazon Prime spokesperson commented, “We are thrilled to bring this unique story to our global audience,” in a statement. The announcement comes just weeks before President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2025.
Before this documentary, Melania released her first book, “Melania,” a memoir featuring personal stories and previously unseen family photos. The book has consistently topped the New York Times best-seller list since its release. In November, shortly after her husband’s election as the 47th President, she launched a digital photography series showcasing her experiences on the 2024 campaign trail and at home.
In a previous interview with Fox News Digital, Melania emphasized her commitment to children’s well-being, stating, “My focus will continue to be on creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn, grow, and thrive,” as she prepares for her second term as First Lady starting January 20.
Since leaving the White House, Melania has ventured into the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) space, creating special edition pieces to support her Fostering the Future initiative. This program provides educational opportunities and scholarships for children in foster care, helping them pursue studies in technology and computer science at various colleges and universities across the country.
Reflecting on her memoir in an interview last year, she shared, “Writing my memoir has been an incredible journey filled with emotional highs and lows. Each story has shaped who I am today.” She added, “Though challenging at times, the process has been immensely rewarding, reminding me of my strength and the importance of sharing my truth.”
