A corporate representative said on Friday that Meta (FB.O), the owner of Facebook, will no longer require employees to have COVID-19 boosters in order to visit its workplaces in the United States.
The social media business had earlier stated that all employees returning to the office would be required to show documentation of their booster vaccinations, while the company kept an eye on the situation with the Omicron variant.
“We revised our admission standards in early March to ensure that they were consistent with CDC recommendations. COVID-19 boosters are no longer required for entry, though they are strongly encouraged.
