However, the shadow of the 2019 documentary Leaving Neverland still looms large. Directed by Dan Reed, the film featured allegations from Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who accused Jackson of abuse during their childhoods. Jackson’s estate has strongly rejected the documentary, labeling it biased and defamatory.
