Meghan Markle recently announced her Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan, offering viewers an intimate glimpse into her domestic life. However, the Duchess of Sussex will not be filming in her $13.5 million Montecito home. Instead, she has chosen a $5 million estate owned by the Cipolla family, located just two miles away, as the backdrop for the show, according to media.
The Cipolla estate spans eight acres, featuring lush avocado trees and lemon groves. At its heart is a state-of-the-art kitchen equipped with luxury features such as Caesarstone countertops, a £15,000 Thermador range cooker, and an extensive collection of white Le Creuset cookware, with pieces priced between £180 and £250.
The kitchen’s aesthetic combines cream Shaker-style cabinetry, black hardware, and copper pans costing £200 to £600. Meghan Markle has added her personal flair, including £60 black walnut chopping boards and her favorite Vitamix E320 Explorian Blender, which retails for £450.
A trailer for the new Netflix show debuted on Meghan Markle’s new Instagram account, where she expressed her excitement and happiness, writing, “I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it.” The post features scenes of Meghan Markle arranging flowers, preparing cakes, crudités, and whimsical caprese appetizers shaped like ladybugs.
One shot highlights a handcrafted Astier de Villatte salad bowl valued at £280. Guests are also seen enjoying a dessert akin to Eton Mess, served in vintage-style ice cream dishes costing just £3 each.
With Love, Meghan is part of the Sussexes’ $100 million Netflix deal. However, its debut follows setbacks, including the cancellation of Meghan’s animated Netflix series Pearl, the layoffs tied to her Spotify podcast Archetypes, and challenges with her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, which has faced trademark issues and staffing shortages.
